Welcome!! I work as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Clinically Certified Trauma Professional, and Breathwork Facilitator.

Keeping it real is important to me. We can’t work through what we don’t acknowledge. I love meeting people where they are, from a place of compassionate curiosity. I see so many people who have lost their sense of self, having spent their lives putting others first, losing sight of who they are, and what they want, need, and desire. Abandoning themselves to “keep others”.

Helping people find their way back to the beautiful truth of who they are is one of my favorite things. Teaching people to say no (without the unbearable discomfort), set effective boundaries, develop a strong sense of self, learn to feel genuine love and compassion for themselves, and learning to trust themselves and reconnect with their intuition- these are the areas I can help you shine. Of equal importance, I can help you learn how to calm your nervous system, reduce stress hormones, respond instead of react, and find a grounded sense of power within.

My Background

I earned my MS from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX and was certified as a Breathwork Facilitator by Fern Olivia in Costa Rica.

I have been a practicing therapist since 2016. I incorporate breathwork into my practice for those interested and offer breathwork as a stand-alone practice as well. I see therapy and breathwork clients both virtually and in person in Denton, TX. I can accept virtual therapy clients who reside anywhere in Texas and can facilitate breathwork to anyone, anywhere.

More About Breakthwork

Breathwork is a powerful energetic meditation technique that uses the breath to quiet the thinking mind by activating the parasympathetic nervous system (calming the nervous system). It increases blood flow, boosting oxygen and dopamine, allowing you to drop into the deeper intelligence of your body and spirit. Staying in this space of non-resistance for an extended period begins to re-wire the brain.

Our minds have been conditioned nearly since birth; we have developed so many false-limiting beliefs. Our mind often runs on auto-pilot according to our conditioned limiting beliefs and fear.

Emotions are energy in motion; when feelings aren’t fully processed, they become trapped energy. Breathwork provides a break from the conditioned mind. This break allows participants the space to process and release suppressed or repressed emotions, clear energy blockages, connect to intuition, and open the heart. Over time, breathwork has the power to heal the nervous system, and create new neural pathways that are not limited by previous conditioning.
